The Woodster Shop is small on purpose.
Staying small is what keeps the work good. Every piece comes off the same bench — cut, prep and finished before it ships — and that’s the point, not a limit. It’s the extra pass on a board’s surface, the layer that makes a wall piece read right, the name engraved on the underside by the shop that built it.
The materials are few and honest: Baltic birch for the layered, laser-cut wall art; walnut, maple, and cherry from local lumber yards for the end-grain boards. Boards are sanded smooth and sealed in-house with food-safe mineral oil and a beeswax paste — no varnish, no stain — so the wood stays the surface you cook on. What leaves the shop is what we made here, start to finish.
